    2007-2022

    • Developed, designed, permitted, and managed, municipal yard trim and food scrap composting program for 120,000 residents that generates $375,000 in annual revenue.
    • Managed Capital Projects program for Solid Waste including landfill, transfer station, compost facility, residents’ convenience center, and scale house.
    • Managed environmental monitoring and permitting program including landfill gas, groundwater treatment system, ground and surface water monitoring, and refuse disposal.
    • Developed Emergency Debris Management program including writing County Debris Plan, and procuring State and Local clean-up, volume reduction and monitoring contracts.
    • Solicited and managed solid waste service contractors for maintenance and repair of all contracted services.
    • Lead Bureau’s safety program including developing Confined Space and Lock-out/Tagout program. Conducted bi-weekly safety meetings.
    • Managed Annual Operating Budget of $12M.

    2001-2007

    • Designed and prepared specifications for water distribution and wastewater collection system upgrades. Provided construction administration for such projects. Multiple jurisdictions.

    • Managed collection of closed landfills in Mid-Atlantic including gas collection, leachate management, groundwater monitoring and cap management.
